This is the video that started it all. It empowered female athletes to start to talk about and stand up against how they were being treated. One simple commercial gave female athletes a platform to inspire and motivate others. Nike is behind female athletes and agree with what they are fighting for. Nike is giving big brand deals to female athletes and doing things like creating this commercial to help. People tend to pay attention to things when they are said or portrayed by big time companies that are well known around the world. I personally can sit and watch this commercial over and over again because I find it so empowering. Seeing female athletes portrayed as strong, independent, and capable of anything really makes me happy. After watching this, I sat down and wrote down goals, that may or not be impossible to achieve, to work towards. I encourage all of you to sit down after watching this commercial and write down all the things you want to accomplish and work crazy hard to reach them. You got this!
